For the fourth edition of this workshop we have invited again a unique panel of speakers to discuss the topics of ecotic.

Vincent Bontems Vincent BONTEMS is a philosopher of science and technology, is a research director at CEA (Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission), a professor at INSTN (National Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology), co-director of the Master's program in Technology and Innovation Management at PSL (Paris Sciences Lettres), and the director of the "l'Âne d'or" collection at Belles Lettres. He is the author of "Bachelard," "The Dark Ideas of Physics" (with Roland Lehoucq), and "In the Name of Innovation: Purposes and Methods of Research in the 21st Century" (Belles Lettres, 2023).
Ai Hisano Ai HISANO is a an Associate Professor at the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies/Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo, Japan. She specializes in cultural and business history; studies in capitalism; the long-term development of technology; and the history of the senses. She received a BA and MA in American Studies from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and a PhD in History from the Hagley Program in the History of Capitalism, Technology, and Culture at the University of Delaware.​ After earning her PhD in 2016, she served as a Newcomen Postdoctoral Fellow in Business History at Harvard Business School (2016–17), and taught at the Graduate School of Economics at Kyoto University (2017–2021). Her first book, Visualizing Taste: How Business Changed the Look of What You Eat (Harvard University Press, 2019) won the 2020 Hagley Prize in Business History (Business History Conference) and the 2020 Shimizu Hiroshi Book Award (Japanese Association for American Studies).
Hirotaka Osawa Hirotaka OSAWA is the chairman of the board of director of the Science Fiction and Fantasy writers of Japan, and an associate professor at Keio University and a visiting associate professor at the University of Tsukuba. His research field includes human-agent interaction, the development of anthropomorphic devices, simulation using social games for social agents, and exploring humanity studies through science fiction literature. He focuses specifically on how human-like appearance and attitude enhance the interaction between users and machines, as well as examining the role of social intelligence in improving our society. Dr. Osawa earned his PhD in Engineering, a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Keio University.
Mehdi BENALLEGUE holds an engineering degree from the National Institute of Computer Science (INI) in Algeria, obtained in 2007. He earned a master's degree from the University of Paris 7, France, in 2008, and a Ph.D. from the University of Montpellier 2, France, in 2011. His research took him to the Franco-Japanese Robotics Laboratory in Tsukuba, Japan, and to INRIA Grenoble, France. He also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Collège de France and at LAAS CNRS in Toulouse, France. Currently, he is a Research Associate with CNRS AIST Joint robotics Laboratory in Tsukuba, Japan. His research interests include robot estimation and control, legged locomotion, biomechanics, neuroscience, and computational geometry.
   
Xela Xela INDURKHYA is a PhD student in robotics as well as a storytelling enthusiast and author.
